Writing Rhyming Words

Learning Goals: Literacy, Letter Sounds, Phonics, Writing.

    • In small groups, provide students with a tray/mat of shaving cream.
    • Students will write the first word prompted by educators, such as cat.
    • Then, students will change one letter to create a rhyming word (i.e. cat becomes hat, when the c is changed to h)
