What Is This Letter?
Learning Goals: Literacy, Phonological Awareness, Letter Identification.

This activity can be implemented as a whole-class or small group game.

One student will time one minute using an hourglass timer.

As the educator shows students a letter card, the students will identify the letter name.

Students will attempt to name as many letters as possible before the timer runs out.

Then the same game can be played with identifying and making the letter sounds.
