What is the Last Sound?

Learning Goals: Literacy, Alphabet, Phonological Awareness

    • This activity can be implemented as a whole class or small group activity.

    • The educator provides students with a word and asks: “What’s the very last sound?”

    • Each time a student identifies the correct last sound, the student will then draw the letter on the board and the educator will add a point to the tally chart of students versus educator.
