Sticky Note Labelling
Learning Goals: Writing, Fine Motor, Letter-Sound Knowledge, Phonics, Vocabularly
- Give each student a sticky post-it note and have them choose something in the classroom to label.
- Introduce the activity with having students only label using the first sound of the word and extend expectations once students can sound out more parts of the word to label.
- Encourage students to challenge themselves by choosing unique classroom items or labelling more than one thing.
