Give each student a sticky post-it note and have them choose something in the classroom to label.
Introduce the activity with having students only label using the first sound of the word and extend expectations once students can sound out more parts of the word to label.
Encourage students to challenge themselves by choosing unique classroom items or labelling more than one thing.
