Sight Word Trivia

Learning Goal: Sight Word Recognition, Literacy, Turn Taking

    • Divide students into two groups.
    • Hold up a card with a sight word written on it, and invite one member of the first team to raise their hand to read the word.
    • If it is incorrect, provide guidance for why it was incorrect, and allows the other team to try reading the word.
    • Whichever team gets the most sight words wins.
    • Can be played as whole group or small group.
