Sensory Seeds

Learning Goals: Sensory, Properties, Vocabularly, Self-Regulation, Fine Motor Skills

    • Take all the "guts" out of a pumpkin and place a couple  of handfuls in a dish, bowl, or tray.
    • If you are doing this activity as a full class, then place a tray on every table so students have a smaller group on every tray.
    • Let your students explore! Watch to see what questions they have or how they want to extend the activity.
    • Optional: place loose parts out on the table (that you wouldn't mind having to clean after) or other manipulatives like small bowls, scoops, etc.
