Provide student with paint colours, and a sheet with a pre-existing colour pattern on it (e.g. green, blue, black) and ask student to recreate that colour pattern.
Have them create their own patterns with paint and label what type of pattern it is (ex. AB, ABC, ABB, ABCC, ABCD)
