Painting with Marbles

Painting with Marbles

Learning Goals: Creativity, Child-Directed, Art, Colour Mixing, Self-Regulation

    • Option 1:
      • Provide students with marbles and ask them to dip it in chosen paint colour.
      • Encourage them to create art using the marble.
    • Option 2:
      • Line a bin with a piece of paper on the bottom.
      • Have students squirt blobs of paint into the bin for colours they want to include.
      • Place a marble in the bin and have students swirl it around to create an abstract painting.
      • Encourage students to remain calm when painting as painted marbles could go flying if the bin is shaken too much.
