Painting a Story

Painting a Story

Learning Goals: Creativity, Writing, Oral Communication, Fine-Motor Skills, Visual Arts

    • Introduce the activity with students and create a plan for a story as a class.
    • As an extension: Encourage each student to come up with a 'story-plan' individually.
    • Have students paint a scene in their story before writing it.
    • Scribe (or have students write) stories and be flexible with changes to the story-plan as students work on their painting.
