Observational Drawing
Learning Goals: Fine motor Skills, Spatial Awareness, Hand-Eye Coordination
- Provide students with an art journal book, crayons, and objects (e.g., doll, flower, found material, etc.).
- Encourage them to choose out of all the objects and then take their time to draw the chosen object.
- Allow time for students to share their drawing with the class and for others to ask questions.
