Observational Drawing

Learning Goals: Fine motor Skills, Spatial Awareness, Hand-Eye Coordination

    • Provide students with an art journal book, crayons, and objects (e.g., doll, flower, found material, etc.).
    • Encourage them to choose out of all the objects and then take their time to draw the chosen object.
    • Allow time for students to share their drawing with the class and for others to ask questions.
