Light Table Shapes
Learning Goals: Spatial Sense, Geometry, Math, Writing
- Provide students with patterning blocks at light table.
- Encourage them to build based on a pre-made structure (a cat in this case).
- Support students in writing the different body parts of the animal that they are re-creating, and discuss the shapes used to create it.
- Optional: educators or students can pre-create the shape/ pattern that everyone else will try to recreate.
