Light Projector Play

Learning Goals: Child-Directed Play, Spatial Sense, Creativity, Cooperative Play

Provide students with a light projector and transparent materials to explore

Examples of these could be plastic building blocks, plastic gems, opaque beads, etc.

Encourage students to build with them and develop play scenarios.

To extend this, students can be inspired to observe how the light may impact their structures, materials, and play scenarios.
Light Projector/ Light Table

Variety of opaque blocks ( 2D/ 3D shape blocks, clear gems, plastic beads)

Any other transparent loose parts or materials

Small figurines or toys to supplement play
Center and materials have been set up by the educator, but children chose to play there. Students decide how to incorporate the materials and create a story for their structures.
