Letter Picture Match
Learning Goals: Phonics, Letter Recognition
- Provide students with puzzle cards, ask them to try and find the matching word for the picture on the puzzle.
- Offer inital prompting by asking for other words that begin with each letter in order to extend learning.
- Puzzle pieces (2 per letter; 1 is a photo of an object that starts with that letter, other is the word describing the picture – e.g., a Lollipop for the letter L)
- The educator has provided this game with a clear learning goal; letter recognition.
