Letter Memory Cards

Letter Memory Cards

Learning Goals: Letter Recgonition, Working Memory, Alphabetic Knowledge

    • Place letter cards faced down on the table.
      • You should provide two copies of every letter. This could be either both uppercase or one uppercase and one lowercase.
      • Difficulty level may also be adjusted based on the number of cards placed on the table.
    • Encourage children to take turns flipping over two cards and trying to get a match. Have them say the letter aloud when they flip over the card.
    • When they find a match, have them keep those cards in a pile to slowly eliminate cards from the game.
