Kinetic Sand Play

Learning Goals: Sensory Play, Fine Motor, Creativity, Properties

    • Introduce your students to kinetic sand! You can also find this under the name "Magic Sand" or "Space Sand".
    • Kinetic Sand is a great sensory material for fine motor development because it is similar to normal sand but it holds its shape.
    • Place kinetic sand out and encourage your students to explore and make observations.
    • As an extension: Offer small sand toys for your students to make and explore 3D shapes.
