Keyboard Exploration

Learning Goals: Literacy, Letter Identification, Letter Sounds, Building Words, Mutually-Directed Play

Allow students to work in small groups to deconstruct an old keyboard.

Encourage students to use the keys on the keyboard to identify letter names, letter sounds, build sight words, and build the alphabet.

Extension: support students in drawing and labelling a picture/diagram of the keyboard.
