Finding and Sharing Outdoor Objects

- Take students outside to explore the natural environment.
- During this exploration, encourage the students to examine the natural environment and to collect found objects such as leaves, branches, seeds etc.
- Facilitate a knowledge building circle where students share their findings, reflections and questions.
- These discussions can be used as a springboard to promote inquiry that builds on what they know and what they would like to learn more about.
