Learning Goals: Literacy, Emergent Reading, Numeracy, Counting, Mutually-Directed Play
- Prepare cue cards for the students with hints about the location of the missing items (ie. Dinosaurs).
- Hide the items in these locations to set up the play.
- Initiate the play by prompting students to read the cue cards, support their team work, and ask guiding questions to help them find the missing items.
- Magnifying glasses

- The educator has prepared, set-up and initiated the play context. The educator helps facilitate and support the students in completing the activity.
- The students have direction in the steps they take to solve the clues and how they work together to find the hidden items.
