Provide students with Lego Blocks.

Encourage students to explore building structures with the materials.

This play can occur with any type of building blocks.
Any type of building blocks (small or large Lego Blocks, wooden blocks)
This child-directed activity allows for the students to be imaginative and creative in their structure/ object building.

Students are able to explore a variety of things to build.

Students can extend this play by verbally sharing what their structure is, or creating a story around it.
