An Umbrella for the Lorax
Learning Goal: Inquiry, Problem-Solving, STEM, Designing
- Read Dr. Seuss' "The Lorax"
- Present your students with the following challenge; design an umbrella that can keep the Lorax dry.
- Provide any necessary materials and assist students to design and build their umbrellas.
- Once completed, test their structures by gently pouring water over the students' created umbrellas to see if any water leaked through.
