Airplane CenterLearning Goal: Literacy, Collaborative Play, Mutually Directed Play, Creative, Communication, Writing. Implementation Guided by the educator, the class can design and create a centre that mimics the inside of an airplane. The class can add seats, ‘windows’, and a “where will you go?” wall with photos of different places around the world. Students can also design a meal menu, plane tickets, passports and flight plan for the flight. Suggested Resources Chairs for airplane seats, ‘windows’ made out of paper, photos of different places. Why Is It Collaborative Play? The educator and the students collaboratively designed this centre.
