2D Shape Hunt Writing
Learning Goals: Writing, Communication, Expression, Math Skills, Concepts of Print
- In the pre-lesson: Have students go on a 2D Shape Hunt and take pictures (or draw) where they find 2D shapes in the classroom.
- For this lesson: Print out the photos on sheets for students to write or have students glue them on to their writing sheets.
- On their sheet, prompt students to label the item and the 2D shape that is.
- Extension: Encourage students to write a story about some of the items that they found around the classroom.
